What are you using to stream your Directv Streaming Service?

According to this website by DIRECTV, you should be getting your locals for ZIP code 76825.

Have the local channels ever worked before? If you have more than one DIRECTV receiver, can you watch the locals on that? Have you verified that you aren’t on a Favorites list that doesn’t show the local channels? To add onto what I already stated, you can try refreshing service by logging in at DIRECTV.com (your online account) and doing a red button reset on all receivers. Depending on the model number, it is on the side by the access card for the HR54 series or the front where it says ‘PUSH’ or ‘OPEN’

I live in McCulloch County. They do not offer locals in this county.

How do you know for sure? If other people in your area that have DIRECTV satellite also don’t get locals then I would agree with your statement. However, it seems likely that your county gets locals over satellite. It would be nice to try to troubleshoot rather than just straight up say ‘I don’t get locals.’ So, if you can answer those questions, I can assist you further.

I know because they do not offer locals in this area. If you go to the link you sent me and type in the zip code, then choose McCulloch County it does not list any local channels.

Either your locals don't want to reach an agreement with DTV or they want more money then DTV will pay.

Having more locals added is very unlikely. DirecTV only has so much room for channels and is in the middle of transitioning from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 only.
If you have the 2nd/3rd generation Genie (HR44 or HR54) you could call DirecTV and see if you could order a Local Channel Connector (LCC). This is a kit that allows you to connect a regular antenna to the box to integrate your locals within range to the guide (no changing inputs and can also record). The LCC has not left testing so stock is limited, but they have a couple times allowed it to be ordered out of the test markets in special situations (no locals or major local is in hardball negotiations).
Older boxes, you could search around for an AM21 which is the predecessor to the LCC. As a note the Genie-2 (HS17) is not compatible with either the older AM21 or the new LCC (probably a factor in why the LCC wasn't released nationally yet).

Thank you for your suggestions but i have tried the LCC and i live to far from any local antenna to get any signal. The only reason i have DTV is for the NFL Ticket but i guess after this year i will find another provider that does offer local channels.
