Security Key too long?
I am trying to set up the on Demand wireless adapter. I can get to the point where it asks me to put in my security key, but my WEP key is 13 characters long, and Directv says that my WEP key must be either 10 or 26 characters. I am confident that I am using WEP and not WAP or anything else, and I've read a few other threads that suggest changing, but to be honest I don't know how to do that so I need to stick with what I have. Also, I tried entering just the first 10 digits, but the remote will not allow me to enter lower case letters no matter how many times I toggle through, and my WEP key definitely has lower case letters. I spent an hour on the phone with Embarq today removing the router's firewall etc. so that shouldn't be a problem. Any suggestions? I appreciate any help.
