Streaming While Stationed Overseas (military)
Can I Stream DirecTV on my computer, Apple TV or Amazon Fire Cube when the military reassigns me overseas? I will be stationed in South Korea for two years and don't want to have to use several different streaming services to be able to watch my favorite shohws and college football. I will not need to continue to have DirecTV in my stateside residence. However, IF a dish and receiver setup at a stateside home is required, I can pay for a relative to setup the dish and receiver in their home. Thanks.

No, you won’t be able to stream Directv. For one thing, the Directv app is only available on phones and tablets. There is no Directv app for Apple TV or fire cubes. The ability to stream is also location based. If your location is determined to be outside of the US, you won’t be able to stream. What would work is a sling box connected to the stateside receiver.
