Yes Network Programing - 631

@ATTHelp - No it does not - The screen is black for all programming on the YES Network channel 631 - this makes no sense, we have had programming for the past several years, there is a problem and we need someone to remedy the problem, we are paying for the service! 

@Juniper - We have the MLB Package so we have always received the YES feed for Yankee games.  It's not just games, it is all programming has a black screen 

The MLB Extra Innings does not give you YES itself since it is out-of-market. Depending on what the Yankees allow, you may get their announcer feed.

The only way you should get YES itself is with the Sports Pack add on (or in Premier as that includes all 5 main add on packs). That gives you over 35 RSN and specialty sports networks. This does not get around the blackout rules, as is more for college sports or for other regional (non-professional) events.

So if you have Sports Pack/Premier, then I would try some basic troubleshooting if there is an error with the channel. Red button reset, pulling power for a minute, even refreshing authorizations at www.directv.com/refresh

But be prepared that something may have corrected a long standing issue where the blackout wasn't working correctly. After all, N.Y. and Texas are absolutely different markets. And reruns are not covered by MLB Extra Innings, so are solely within the RSN rules (mention as this has come up a bit in recent months as they have added in more classic programming because of lack of live games).
