I have read the responses to this question from previous posts. My system doesn't seem to conform to the descriptions given in previous responses. I get every baseball game recorded except my favorite team. I would like to get rid of that.

Does the gemini remote for directv livestream have a line of sight restriction. Or does it pair via bluetooth or similiar connection?

Right now I have to turn on the TV, then use my ROKU remote to navigate to DirecTV. Wondering if the Gemini Air remote changes that so it automatically goes to DirecTV when turned on. Thanks for any help!
