Can the Gemini Air Device be switched back and forth from one TV to another?

Can I program a genie remote to my element tv without turning the tv on?

receiver often requires rebooting for signal download. Sometimes no sound unless rebooted.

Gemini remote is programmed via RF, works great. Only issue is every time I turn the Gemini receiver on, it also turns on my Genie receiver (programmed to my Genie remote via RF only also). In testing, it appears after the Gemini remote fires off the RF turn on, then it sends a secondary IR turn on

To use Directed TV with Gemini, it takes several minutes to start up each time. Then, almost every time I use it, I have to either reboot it or push the reset button (sometimes twice), which again takes several minutes. This is most often when I'm in or going into the App mode.
