I connected the hdmi cable to a Samsung smart tv plugged in the electric plug paired the Vizio sb to the audio from the remote setting. The power and volume responded from the direct tv remote but can’t get any sound from the bar. What step am I missing?

Got a new wireless gemini box. DIRECTV channels work great and screen says connected to Wi-Fi. When I try to use the apps, all the apps say not connected to Wi-Fi.
