AT&T took $288 from our account even though we returned the equipment on time

We returned the equipment when we left AT&T. Since we used automatic Bill Pay, AT&T had our checking account number and they took $288 from our account to cover the cost of the equipment. We called that day and they confirmed that they had received the equipment and the person we talked to was confused as to why they took the money from our account. He said they will not return it for 2-3 billing cycles. That is unacceptable. When we questioned it, the operator said he would rush it and we would get our money in 7-10 days. That was a lie, we have not received our money. It has been over 30 days now since they took the money.

No one can take money from an account without permission. AT&T did not have our permission.

We want our money wired back to the account ASAP.
