MLB Sports Package Fee

According to a letter I read from ESPN which I accessed from your website, the MLB has suspended their starting games until mid-May. And that is a guess on their part, because they may not have a season at all.

Therefore, I am suspending my MLB payment for the season. If they do have a season, please feel free to bill me for the time they play. Here is the link I followed from your website:

I just got a monthly charge for MLB extra innings. I'm assuming this has to be modified since there is no MLB...

Until MLB cancels games billing will continue as normal. AFAIK you can still call to cancel but hold times are very long.

I have been trying to remove MLB EXTRA INNINGS 2020 all week since tomorrow is the deadline. I dont want to pay for a package when there isnt going to be baseball. I was on hold last night for a very long time and then it says you cant take my call and hangs up on me. my account number is (Edited to remove personal information)

Hello, I noticed I’m still being charged for the baseball package when there is no baseball. And I can’t even watch the replays because apparently all major league baseball viewing is blacked out. Yet I’m still paying. Could someone please explain this to me? Thank you

NBA, NHL and MLS games are suspended for 30 days, but their seasons have not been officially canceled. AT&T is monitoring the situation and will consider refunds or credits when/if appropriate.

MLB currently has delayed the start of the 2020 season by at least two weeks. AT&T will adjust the time period for cancellations based on the new start date.

You bill me for a season that wont start- I never ordered the package- and I've been on phone for over two hours- and nobody will refund me. This appears as if it will escalate to a (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) against AT&T.

Why are they still charging me for MLB Extra Innings when they may not even play? Will this be refunded....can't rech anyone at DTV of course.

MLB has not actually cancelled their season. At this point it's just delayed. We'll be refunded if/when they actually cancel.

Call Centers are slammed now due to coronavirus staffing issues, so expect to wait on hold for a long time. Be patient.

Call DirecTV to discuss the MLB Extra Innings. You'll have to do so tomorrow as they close Midnight EST, so in about 15 minutes.

I would like to stop payment on MLB due to the season being canceled. I tried may time to call and fix the issue but with not luck. Also I would recommand a way people can fix there issue with there service via email is pssible, with phone services being back log there has to be some other wa to talk to someone about any issue if possible.

How can I cancel the sports packages? I have been calling and sitting on hold until the line gets disconnected. It will not allow me to take it off under my account online. I am being charged for something that I am not using at this point in time. If the sports start back up, I will add it back on. Where do I email billing for this issue?

Directv is still charging the monthly fee for the MLB Extra Innings package despite the MLB season being suspended. Will refunds be provided for the months where no games are played?

As we all know, MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 season. MLB will announce the new season start date and the effects to the 2020 schedule at a future date. We are actively monitoring developments and will communicate with MLB EXTRA INNINGS subscribers regarding changes to the season schedule.

The cancellation deadline for MLB EXTRA INNINGS will be extended to reflect the delayed start of the season. Additionally, any payments already made for the 2020 MLB season will be credited to customers' accounts.

There is no need to call for the refund, and please allow 1-2 billing cycles for credit(s) to appear. Billing will restart after the MLB announces the season start.

We are also actively monitoring developments with the suspension of the NBA season and will proactively communicate with NBA League Pass subscribers regarding potential refunds/credits as events develop.

Yes. MLB has not yet canceled this season. If they cancel, we'll get a refund.
