don't run the tests for 771 error!

II spent over an hour writing down all the frequency levels on all the transponders AS REQUESTED and made the phone call to Direct TV to get a technician out to my house as I was told my dish probably needed realignment.  Guess what?  Running all those tests do NOTHING.....all that time spent for nothing as they want me to call when I'm home (I'm at work trying to get this done) so THEY can run a check.  HOW STUPID is this?  So just to let anyone out there know that reads this and apparently this "771 error" is common....DO NOT RUN THE DIAGNOSTICS YOURSELF - you still have to call in and Direct TV still has to do their thing so my time was totally wasted.
