HOW DO I CONNECT MY SONY GRAND WEGA TO RECEIVER BOX D12-100

I have moved my old sony Wega TV to the basement and now going from a DVR to a standard HR 22/100 and all I get is searching for a satellite signal.  I have reset the receiver and it jus goes back to searching for a signal  This is strange because the TV connected in the bedroom works.  I have not hooked up my new TV in the family room as yet.  Do all of the TVs need to be hooked up?  Why am I not getting a signal to my old set in the basement?
