I have old directv equipment and don’t have an account anymore and have never received instructions to return. What do I do with it.

What are the models of each box? When did you cancel?
If they are still returnable models, and you didn't wait too long, they are taken to a participating FedEx or The UPS store location. Make sure to get receipt showing specifically what you returned (model, serial number, etc.).
Otherwise, if the boxes aren't returnable (by model or just too late to get non-return fee reversed), then you drop off with whatever electronic recycling is in your area.
