Just got AT&T service last  week.  Can't get RF point anywhere to work properly.  Box is located in a cabinet with wood doors 1/2-3/4 inch thick.  Few days ago remote would work from 4-5 feet away with doors closed.  After doing troubleshooting on my own and with AT&T on phone, remote doesn't work p

All my equipment is in a cabinet. How can I get an IRRemote that will go through the cabinet door as my previous Xfinity and prior to that Dish Network did. This remote I was given is OLD technology. 

Anyone have cabinet or shelving ideas for an AT&T wireless receiver and all the other crap that needs to be hooked up?
