That's a rather broad statement. Without writing a three page diseration can you explain your reasons?

Hmm, is there any reason you don't like U-verse? If it has to do with speed, I'd rather take a solid connection as opposed to Cable Internet(my dad doesn't quite like the fact that he had to go back to Time Warner again because AT&T's internet is only at 768 kbps). Costs for total service is a bit high and I'd like to get rid of my home phone(AT&T Mobile Share Value is great and with Unlimited Voice I can get rid of the home phone).

In a nutshell - I have two 20-yr-old TVs. Both work fine, and I wil replace with flat screens when they die. No problems with cable reception downstairs TV. Upstairs, a whole different story. I rarely have reception. I call U-Verse weekly to troubleshoot. They've already sent me two replacement receivers. It never, ever works. I have given up - I can't watch the news anymore while getting dressed for work. In 15 years, I never once had to call Cox for lack of reception on either TV (except a couple of times during a thunderstorm). As soon as my contract is up, I am running back to Cox to beg forgiveness.
It probably has more to do with your wiring in your house instead of your reciever or tv. Are you running Cat 5 or Coax to the STB? If you can swap the box out and it works on the other tv then it's not the box.
