DVR connected via switch
We are having our kitchen and family room remodeled in January. We'll need to move our tv and DVR out of the room. Before I try it, will the DVR work connected to a switch between it and the RG? I currently have an STB in another room connected that way and have no issues with it.

Hi @browndk26,
Our technicians use switches for installs to setup homes with multiple devices. You should be able to do the same with yours and should not have any issue with the DVR.

Normally any Gigabit capable Ethernet switch will do. AT&T normally uses the Netgear GS105 or GS108.
Warning: do not also connect a Wireless Access Point (other than the AT&T-provided IPTV WAP) or Wireless Router to the same switch as AT&T IPTV equipment (TV, Receiver, WAP).

@JefferMC Thanks for the answer. To be clear, as long as the switch is sending a cable to only the TV and U-Verse STB it should all work?
