I have become a proud member of the red X-10 onscreen club
So, 7 weeks in to my uverse experience, I appear to be experiencing a total failure of my DVR which started with denial of viewing my recorded programs, then nothing but the imfamous red X after attempting reboots multiple times..Someone want to tell me what convenient experience I can look forward too to rectify this situation??

Correction: Need to solve the Red "X" problem! I've tried all the resets, checked everything that I know to check but still no success.
The background is that I just discontinued Direct TV so It is my responsibility to unhook all their equipment and reconnect the U-Verse stuff (which we previously had).
Two tvs have the Motorola boxes and these are the ones that have the "X".
Not sure where to look next for a solution.

Hi @BestefarJohn,
We apologize about the issues, but we will be glad to help. Here is a post that goes over things to do to resolve the red X problem. If you're connected with a coax cable, you will want to check the coax connections to make sure the splitter is connected to the U-verse gateway.
