Watching the beginning of a program you are recoding
If you are recording a program are you able to start watching that program (from the beginning) half way through the recording and it will continue to record til the end?

@Frawls76 - Yes, the recording & watching are separate events. I often start watching the recording 15-20 minutes after the show started & end up at the same time as live (FF through the ads).
Each STB in your house can start watching at differnt times.
All watching goes through the DVR to allow the live trick play. So, everything you watch is recorded, but is not saved unless you specify record. So, if you are watching a show & hit record you get all that you watched. If you want to record a snipet to show someone do a chan up/down to clear the buffer first, then the recording will start at that point.
