Adobe Flash no longer supported.

Now that the Adobe Flash is not available any longer , how is DirecTv streaming supported on my Mac computer.

OS 10.14.6

I am not able to watch the "watch online" programming at this time.

Help please

Hello,

Interim you can use the Directv app on your mobile device, otherwise the watch online needs flash support, so you would direct this concern to Apple (since they are the ones who ended support for Adobe Flash, which is used on every other platform). Apple has a great mobile support app, Apple support, to quikcley chat or call. Visit Apple.com/support or call 800-MYIPHON

Thank you--I also found out that Chrome has a built in Flash that I can allow to run on the Directv site to use my Mac.

What will happen in 2021 when Flash is no longer supported in ANY web browser? It will be removed and blocked from IE, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox

They have something in the works, but has not reached the point to publicly announce to us customers. Fash support doesn't finish until the end of the year, so we should have an update within the next couple months.

Hello @Diver1969,

Thanks for reaching out.  We are aware of the sunset for Adobe Flash Player, and will have more information to share soon.

If you are having any issues with the Adobe Flash Player for this we recommend visiting Adobe's support page to troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks

The responses from AT&T staff are a joke. There is NO support from Adobe that will get Flash to work on Directv's site. Adobe is phasing out Flash. And the staffer who blamed Apple for the problem is being ridiculous. Flash isn't going to work on Chrome or Firefox, either, in 2021. Changing the streaming codec to HTML 5 is not that difficult. It should have been done already. Why does AT&T/Directv screw around its customers this way?

All who say it is not difficult to make certain changes should apply for jobs at AT&T if they are so sure their technical knowledge and understanding how that and licensing works between TV provider and all the networks. Let the armchair geniuses show how it is done.

That venting aside, I do agree that being in the month leading to Flash's sunset with no clear info or direction regarding the option going forward is annoying. Would be nice to have some idea, or even a planned date for announcement, preferably not right at or after sunset is reached.
