DirecTV keeps freezing randomly
I have 9 DirecTV boxes at home. 6 of them are genies.
We have a sports bar setup in the basement and I have issues with one of the TVs in the basement. One of them constantly freezes at random times. It happened recently while trying to watch football. It was also happening while trying to watch the election. Here is an example of what I am talking about (link attached). Again, the other TVs are fine. Just this one. I have reset the main DirecTV receiver as well as my Internet. This problem keeps coming back randomly. Some days it works great, but there are times when the freezing goes on non-stop and it is very frustrating.

What are the models of each box? (I assume by "genies" you mean some type of Mini Genie Clients). Which one has the problem?
Though you have done a reset, make sure you have done so in a specific order. If that doesn't fix it long term, I would do a full power cycle in the same order (unplugging power for a minute, then one at a time power back on). Verify coax is finger tight to every box first. Genie > WVB > Client > HDDVR > HD non-DVR.
Also a caution, DirecTV's new billing account system only allows a maximum of 8 devices. Unknown why that is, but suspected they might be treating power users as business accounts (which some small businesses had residential accounts fraudulently). Hopefully you are grandfathered with the old account system, but something to be aware of in case you get any notices in the future.
