NBA League Pass

Received notice that I would be billed $24.99 for 4 months to watch NBA League Pass for only 2 weeks (7-31 to 8-14). The NBA.COM is offering the 2 weeks of service for ONE PAYMENT of $28.99. Will the additional charges hy Directv be credited toward next season ?

Payments for a sports subscription never go towards the next season. The website streaming option and your DirecTV service are unrelated.

I can't see paying the additional $70.00 + to watch only 2 weeks of games. I"ll cancel the service from Directv and go with NBA.COM.

If you only want to watch on the website, that is your option.

TV providers like DTV have no control over what the NBA charges for their programing.

The NBA is only charging $28.99 while Directv is charging 4 payments of $24.99.

That is what NBA is charging DTV.

NBA charges DirecTV for satellite channels, permission to record, all the benefits of the League pass through a TV provider.

A streaming only option NBA.com is directly to you from them and has limited options.

So the NBA chooses to charge differently for those services. Get the service you want or don't get it at all. Price is not changing.
