RG73 remote pause function only paused for less than a minute.
Pause button used to pause for as long as I wanted to pause (like pause through commercials). Two days ago the pause button stopped working properly. Will only pause for less than a minute on both recorded programs and live programs. Help.

Doing a red button reset may fix it.

Found the problem was caused by doing a number of short pauses to listen to my wife over a short period of time. Restarted directv and it works fine now. Must be a glitch with the receiver.

Some are posting there is a bug in the software causing this in relationship with their ads on pause.
