Tv suddenly has no signal

My primary TV works fine.  My secondary TV has a “No Signal” message.  Nothing has changed except that the TV suddenly does not have a signal.  I have tried rebooting the secondary box and it does not help.  I cannot speak to a live support person because the computer keeps hanging up on me.

Put the tv on The correct input, a simple "no signal" message is a TV issue NOT a DirecTV error message.

That is correct.  What the TV is not getting a signal from is the Direct TV box.  I need to know how to make the box do its job.  The TV only has one input. It has been working until now.  Nothing has physically changed with the set up.  Why is the Direct TV box not sending a signal to my TV?

Toggle through the tv inputs. If it has only 1 input then most likely it’s on the tuner and not auxiliary input. Regardless it’s a tv issue not a direct tv issue

Unless the TV is 50+ years old, it has at least 2 inputs. All TVs have a antenna (ANT) input. TVs that are pre-HD (not old enough to be tube TVs or such) will just have the ANT and A/V (red/white/yellow). Even a simple HD TV usually has ANT, A/V, and a HDMI input.

So either there is an INPUT you don't understand, or your TV is extremely old. If it is that old where you are connected to the ANT input, then you need to be on the TV's (not DirecTV) channel 3 or 4 as that is how that connection works for DirecTV (or an old fashion VCR). But if your TV and equipment are that old, it will not work for much longer as DirecTV has been in the middle of shutting down the outdated setups.

What is the make and model of your TV?

What model DirecTV box?

I was finally able to speak to a person at customer support.  After troubleshooting for 35 minutes they determined that the Direct TV box was defective and scheduled a tech to come out and replace it.  Thank you to everyone who tried to help.

A replacement box is shipped to you. They send a tech only if there is something else wrong in the cabling or dish as a box is just a simple swap.

Sending tech out is $99, delivery of a replacement box is $19.95.

Still I am curious on the model of DirecTV box and TV if everything was properly checked.

@lperk

Test another HDMI cable, box with that TV, or another HDMI device to help narrow down what the issue is.

For more guidance please start a fresh thread as this one ended a few years ago.
