Wireless connection to router with a Directv Cinema Connection Kit?

Greetings.  I had a professional installation done when I switched over to Whole Home DVR service and Directv CinemaPlus.  I have three HD DVRS  (two HR21's and one HR24) along with several HD receivers.   The installer hooked up the Directv Cinema Plus with a DECA Broadband Adapter by using a coaxial cable (from the wall outlet) and an ethernet cable (from the broadband adapter to the router).   Everything worked fine with that installation setup.    However, I have since switched my telphone service from AT&T to Comcast.  This switch required the use of the lone coaxial outlet that is in the upstairs room where I have my router.   I tried to have the cable guy fish a new coaxial line through the attic and behind the drywall this room.  However, the cable guy couldn't/wouldn't do it because of the way the house was built (I won't bore you with the details, but the builder essentially prewired the home for cable and then covered them with 2x4's, making running a new line quite a chore).   Since getting someone to run a new coaxial cable line to that room may be difficult, I started looking to see if there was a way to hook up the Directv CinemaPlus to my router wirelessly and I came across the Directv Cinema Connection Kit and read the manual for it.  Am I correct that I can connect the kit up to either the HR24 or HR21 (which has a white home adapter on it) with a coaxial cable and then connect to the router via a wi-fi connection, and that this won't have any impact on my Whole Home DVR service?  If so, will my download speeds be impacted at all?   Thanks in advance.

Indeed you are correct, but the impact on download can only be surmised.  Wireless is never as good as a hard wired system but my tests of the Wireless Cinema Connection Kit went well except the unit would not reliably carry Directv2PC streaming.  As to connecting, first remove the DECA BB adapter from your router and put it away.  If you follow the instructions on page 15, 16 & 17 of the manual the HR24 will detect the adapter (patience, and have the TV and DVR on) and ask if you want to connect to the router.  Make sure your network name does not contain any symbols, only letters and or numbers.  After the Kit connects to your router, the DVR should run the connect now command under network setup.
