I have tried several remotes and have replaced the mini genie with a new one. I have reset the remotes many times. Everything works for awhile but after turning off the TV and using it again after a few days or weeks the remotes again stop functioning except for turning on and off the mini Genie. Yo

I didn't know I had this?? I have Genie in one room, and an older box in the other. Snow killed our signal, and the Genie started streaming the channel. We didn't miss a beat on the show. But the other was dead to anything live??? Confused on what's going on there.

Will I need the main Direct TV box to set up service in my new home. I will not occupy the home for a week, after the install can I take the main box back to the home I'm in for the next week?

Bought a 55" U8 Hisense TV. OTHER TVs in the house work with the Direct TV receiver we have. Hisense sound cuts out on almost ALL HD channels, but plays fine on ALL non-HD channels. Sound blips in only about 5% of the time on the HD channels. Any suggestions? Might the receiver just be out of date?
