Apple TV vs Gemini

I’ve been running a 4k Apple TV along side a Gemini on the same TV. Both are hard wired via Ethernet. Picture seems better on Apple TV, channels change instantly on the Apple TV (no expanding line while loading) and Apple TV is faster, including the guide loading. The speed difference is very notice

I just purchased Direct TV Choice with AT&T fiber internet yesterday. I downloaded the App and it doesn't work on my TV's. I've got a Fire TV and multiple Fire sticks. It works on my laptop but nothing else. Do I need the box and the Gemini controller first?

Gemini Air looses WiFi signal

Why does both my Gemini airs loose WiFi at night. I have to go to settings, turn off WiFi and turn it back on. Shouldn’t it auto connect when the signal comes back. Both airs are within 15’ of the router. The WiFi has Excellent signal. thank You, Nick
