I really like directv stream but this network is not on the package. Every other streaming live tv service has the channel but I have been with directv since early 2000s and hate to leave for another service. Any chance the channel will be added in the near future? I've noticed that some of the buttons on the remote transmit an IR signal and others do not. I'm guessing the ones that do not are transmitting RF? Is there a way to force the remote (RC81V) to use IR for all buttons?

I have DirectTV Stream on my Samsung TV. I'm using the Samsung remote but I've seen comments that the DirectTV Gemini devices are better. I thought that you had to pay $15.99 for the first Gemini and $7 for additional per month which can add up. Is this correct?
