Returned equipment

I’ve returned my equipment in the box that was sent to me and followed all instructions and returned all equipment as listed to return. I just received a bill for $240.75 for the equipment that I already returned when I’m supposed to be receiving a credit of $94.56 due to the fact I cancelled on August 5th and cycle ended Aug. 23rd.    Thanks

This is a scam by AT&T.

Same thing happened to us. We moved and Directtv could not set up service in our new house due to trees. They sent two boxes for me to return 5 receivers. The Boxes were dropped off at UPS in Seaford DE and then we get hounded by Directtv for 5 months to pay the bill for non-returned receivers.

What recourse do I have? I have contacted the Better Business Bureau to log a complaint.
