your business practices are unethical
I have ended my relationship with Direct TV and if AT&T continue their relationship with them I may be cutting my relationship with them as well. Consumers beware of Direct TV and cut the cord as quickly as possible. Their fees, their billing practices, and the games they play remind me of the Mafia ... if you're with them, they are ready to help. The minute you say you want to disconnect they turn into money grubbers that are no longer helpful and are NOT service friendly. RUN now, and join the NO CABLE crowd there are many alternatives that will save you money.

So, what exactly are you having an issue with? You talk about "unethical billing practices" but give no specifics. With some info perhaps guidance could be given, or at least others will know what you are complaining about.
There are certainly somethings I would like to see adjusted or improved. And definitely customer support needs to get back to what it used to be, before AT&T acquired them (they bit off more than they could chew and then the pandemic compounded the issues). Perhaps the new company taking the reins (while AT&T retains majority ownership), will get DirecTV back on a good track.

Sorry Direct TV, I have been talking to you all for two and half months and you not only have not solved anything, but you have also proven to me you really don't want to help or listen to the problem overall. you just want $$.
And Juniper, I have been dealing with issues for too long and I'm tired of telling the tale. Direct TV has the transcript that they can follow.
In short, I ended my relationship with them and they have billed me for 3 times my monthly bill on a technicality and they have no remorse.

If you are "tired of telling the tale", then why are you here? Seems you want to talk more but have no discussion or get anything resolved.
If you want to try and get something out of this, perhaps resolution or what to be careful of in the future, then please share details. But if you took the effort to create an account and start a thread just to complain just for the sake of complaining (which you could have accomplished the same without turning the computer on), then we shall move on.

Looks like they were just trying to insert spam. Though interestingly, that would be considered more productive than the OP telling the tale that the were not going to tell the tale. (which since they mentioned "technicality", I assume DirecTV followed the rules and the OP wanted something waived because they couldn't handle it).
