How can I get DTV to be responsive to a problem?

If I call Corporate and ask to speak to someone with authority in support will I get results or simply dumped into the abyss of support I've been sloshing through for several days?  I've already invested about 5-hours in calling support, being disconnected, transferred, having to start the calling sequence over again, including repeated trips through the troubleshooting procedure that had been done on previous disconnected calls, being told orders didn't exist, etc.     My problem started 5-days ago when the disk died (923 error) in my HR44 (which has been under service contract for the +/-10 yrs I've had it ).  After several disconnected calls, DTV service agreed to ship a "replacement" receiver that I was assured would work with my remotes, mini's, etc.  It arrived 3-days later and I was pleased... until I opened the box.  It's an HR54... which doesn't have the RCA connectors like the HR44... so no way to connect to my TV (which doesn't have any HDMI inputs) .  So I called DTV service again... and spent another couple hours getting transferred/disconnected and eventually trying to get the service rep to understand (due, I think, to lack of good comprehension of English) what the problem was.  I was eventually told, essentially, that she was sorry but the HR54 is what's available.  She didn't answer when I asked how DTV was going to resolve it since buying a new TV wasn't a solution.  I said I realize she doesn't have authority to do more and I'd like to speak to someone who does.  I was told she would forward it to a supervisor who would call me back in "30-mins to an hour".  No call has been received as of today, a day later.  This isn't DTV's first rodeo, they must know of a converter they could supply to convert HDMI to composite.   So again, does anyone know how to contact someone in authority?

You need the composite 10 pin din cable to get the RCA outputs. DTV may send you one or buy it online.

Thanks to all who posted replies/suggestions.  As a followup, prior to seeing any of those replies,  I tried calling the usual support number again and, after waiting on hold for about 45-minutes, I was connected to a very helpful lady (based in Montana) who knew exactly what was needed... and so a DIN to Composite cable is on its way.  Compared to the attitude I received from DTV support yesterday, this was a pleasurable experience.

Thanks to Directvhelp (Luisa) who posted above to meet in a DM... unfortunately there's no such icon "next to the bell" ?  (to the left of the bell is a link to directv.com, to the right is notifications and then user).

In conclusion, it would have been great if the correct replacement parts were shipped over night to me.  As it is, I received the HR54 in 3-days (which was tolerable) and I should receive the cable in another "3-5 business days".  That puts complete resolution at 9-13 calendar days... ugh!
