HR22-100 stuck at Step 1 of 2 Checking Satellite connection

Hi, we just had a massive storm here and were without power for over a week. Since the power has come back on I haven't been able to get one of my receivers, an HR22-100 to boot up past the Step 1 of 2 Checking Satellite connection. It will just hang there forever. All my other receivers work fine. I've already tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to work. I have alot of DVR programming I don't want to lose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the HR22 in another location and vice versa. That way you know if it is the box or the connection in the room. Verify coax is finger tight. If you have a SWM box and the light is blinking or off, unplug for a minute and after it is back on try resetting the HR22.

Since you had a power outage, try unplugging power from the HR22 for a minute to let it drain residual memory in case the improper interruption caused an error. Do not plug into a "smart" power strip.

If problem stays in the room, then you may need a service call as something is damaged. Otherwise if stays with box, then you need to warranty replace it.

I tried the box in a different room that has a working receiver and same thing it's still stuck on the same screen. I ran the advanced diagnosis to check the hard drive and other things and the receiver passed all tests so I don't know what it could be.
