Whole Home Network/Viewing Issues

Setup
16 Port SWM
2-8way splitters
Deca BB at the Router
3- HR24s
6- H24s
3- D12s with Band Stop Filters

My customer is having constant issues with the service. Usually only 2 of the 3 DVRs show up on the network and when all 3 happen to show up there will be 1 or more H24s that won't see all the HR24s but may see 1 or 2 of them. This is a big house and it seems most of the problems are the receivers at the other end of the house. Any suggestions? Ever here of distance issues? Also if the LNB was not green label and I don't have band stops on the multi switch would that cause this type of issue?
Thanks

You have fifteen tuners.  Are you sure you have no more than eight on either of the splitters?  Note sure re the band stop question, perhaps one of the other guys can comment.

there is no need for BSF on the lines coming from the dish.  the "green label" rule apply only to the SWM side of the system. from the SWM16 to the splitter and power supply

So if the LNB is not green label I need BSF on my 2 SWM outputs to the splitters and also on the PS?

No, you misunderstood Peds48's comments.  He was saying with a SWM16 the LNB did not need to be green labeled and no BSF filters are required for that reason.  However, if the SWM-16 itself or the splitters are not green labeled, that does present a problem.

a BSF in your case would only be needed if your SWM 16 is NOT green labeled as the picture that dcd posted shows.  a non green label splitter problem can only be "fix" by replacing the non green label splitter with a green label splitter.  hope this makes sense
