Remote falling apart

I have an RC64R remote that is about 9 months old and is falling apart. It doesn't get heavy use and, no, I don't use it as a hammer. The black rubber "sleeve" has fallen off and the buttons work intermittently. When the buttons do work it's like they double hit. Anyone else having this issue?

I LOVE the new LIVE streaming feature, but...

...I would REALLY LOVE it if the iPad could also stream recorded content. Will this happen?  I'd be able to get rid of my Slingbox stuff. I think this would cannibalize DTVs Nomad thing, but it would give its customers so much great functionality.  I really hope they do it. Can anyone comment? - Jon
