When I open the Code Lookup Tool page and click on remote control RC66, the DTV Support page is loaded instead of the page that lets you choose which device you need a code for. One of my secondary receivers the talking guide is on and I can't get it off. Please tell me how to get it off. I tried on the closed captions tab but no option there. I tried to find it though the menu but didn't see anything there to let me turn it off either.

Just had Directv installed yesterday.  The picture on my non HD tv is too bright and I can't adjust it.  Worked fine with Dish network.

This a brand new upgraded HD DVR receiver, 1 week old.  Only on the HD channels the background sound and music drowns outthe voices. Turning up the sound only makes it worse. Is there a way to lower the background noise?

How can I look back in time on the guide?  It would be helpful to be able to scroll back a few hours to look for a show that may be extended time like sports programs.
