I lose local channels once a week

I lose my local channels about once a week. Had a new receiver installed and still the same problem. Channels return after i refresh the receiver but only for a few days. They have one more chance or they can come get their sh$$. Any thoughts

No audio upon initial power up

Must reset HD DVR at least once a day

Channel changes more than once when button pushed once

Channel changes multiple times with one tap of channel up/ down. The same happens with the arrow keys when scrolling through the guide. It moves more than once even though the button was only pressed once. Started after a software update a while ago, sometime last year. Happened with multiple boxes.

HR22/100 Reboots Once a Day, Every Day Since the 0x395 Update

Directv iPad app won’t play downloaded shows

I have been trying to watch shows I’ve downloaded to my iPad from the DVR.  The player opens, but it never plays anything.  No errors, no nothing.  I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, I’ve reset my receiver and Genie, reset my wifi.  Still nothing.

Why are shows set to keep still being put in the last chance category

Sense upgrading to the genie 2 for HDR and 4k i have had shows that were recorded from non ppv sources get added to the last chance area on my dvr. Matter of fact just checked some and they said this rental period expired even though the show was taken from a non rental on demand channel.

Remote not responding, then responds with long delay all at once

Over the last month, my remote will seem to stop working or freeze, and I then push a bunch of buttons trying to get it to work. But if I wait 2 minutes it will unfreeze and all at once execute every button I clicked. This happens at least once an hour. Help!

No. Once upon a time DirecTV had an app called DirecTV2PC, but that was discontinued long ago. You can only download recordings to a smartphone/tablet using the DirecTV App connected to the same network as your DVR.

Extending recorded shows to my computer

I have a satellite receiver/DVR that I has recorded programs. I would like to watch them on a device that is not wired to the DVR, such as my laptop (macBook) over wifi. Is this possible?
