My upgrade nightmare with ATT Uverse.
Last week, I was offered a promotion to keep my same services for my Uverse digital television with the same packages at a discounted rate since my other promotion was expiring. I was told to verify on the 13th that everything had gone through but the member had signed me those services. My AT&T cell phone was damaged and I didnt receive a phone until after the promotion has expired. Now I have no option but to disconnect my service because the promo is no longer active. I dont know why AT&T couldnt make an exception considering that they promised the promotion as long as I could call them. They now are punishing me because I had to wait to receive the new phone in the mail instead of picking it up in the store. This has been a total nightmare and I feel that I need to get the word out about AT&T not being able to make an exception because of the wait.

Didn't you have access to another telephone during that time, perhaps one at work, a friend's phone, or a realtive's phone? You could have used any of the phones I suggested on Janurary 13 so that you could have verified that "everything had gone through".

I worked from home this week and only had access to the internet. I live alone making it difficult to find someone else with a working phone. If I had known that me not calling by the 13th would of voided the services being offered, I would of gone to the AT&T store or used someones phone.
