I wuz robbed part 2

Quoting from a prior post:

Anyway, overall, I'm disappointed in the amount of material that is available on "OnDemand" if you don't subscribe to the premium channels. A causal look at the listings under Movies/Comedy shows about 80-90% of the titles are available only if you are subscribed to ENC, STARZ, SHO, CIN, etc.

Today is my first day connected with VOD and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I submitted the following 'complaint' to DirecTV but they just gave the predicted response (sign up for premium channels or else look for movies that are not in the premium channels).

I just (in the past few hours) connected my HD DVR to the internet, successfully enabling DIRECTV on DEMAND. However, I am very frustrated by all of the hype that has been going on for years about this great feature which provides many free movies only to learn that the bulk of them come from TMC, Showtime, Encore, Starz, blah blah blah and are not available unless I upgrade the channels in my subscription. Live and learn. I think DirecTV could be more forthcoming in their advertising. I think 'browsing' on the TV could exclude the channels for which I have no access. And, I think browsing on the web site (looking for available movie options) should exclude the ones for which I have no access. This is extremely frustrating (both your marketing hype of what I thought I was getting and your tools to find out what I can really get). Please don't respond with a marketing letter that tells me to upgrade my subscription so that I can access these 'premium' channels.
