Install DirecTV Players -- Connection is not private - bad certificate error
trying to install the directv player on chrome and mozilla.
after clicking the "install player" button, i get directed to a warning page that tells me "my connection is not private" (chrome) or "did not connect: potential security error" (firefox)
neither allows me to advance because the site is "not trusted because it uses a certificate that is not valid for metrics.directv.com. this certificate is only valid for the following names: *.sc.omtrdc.net, sc.omtrdc.net" error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN
now, before you tell me to try another browser, please note, this error is already occurring in two of the biggies, chrome and firefox. i highly doubt it'll work on opera or whatever Microsoft is calling their browser these days.
i have ZERO issues watching on my ipad.
i'm running windows 10.
any idea how to overcome this ridiculous problem?
