Watching on Satellite

I’ve tried to explain this to customer service over the phone several times but I just get frustrated so I’ll try to explain it here with an example of what happens. I have a whole home DVR genie system and one of the clients will not play live tv. You can see the guide and watch any of the recordings in the DVR, but live tv is a solid black screen no sound. I have unplugged, changed HDMI cables, reset with the whole hold the enter button and nothing.
