I see various discussions/comments regarding the DVR function for BYOD. Does the DVR function come along with the subscription or are there additional charges? I will likely use an Apple TV4 & 4K for my devices. If I buy a Gemini-AIR from a 3d party does that change anything at all regarding my subs

I have DIRECTV Stream service and I use the DIRECTV app on my TCL smart TV to watch my streaming channels. The DIRECTV app seems to freeze fairly regularly and once it does none of the buttons on the remote can get you out. How can I force quit the app and restart it?
