Streaming + Device & App

I encountered another issue today with the Gemini Air device. This is the second time, in three months in which I need a new device. I am really growing tired of this! The device keep hanging when I change channels. Any one else having this problem? I proved it to DTV by viewing via the app on Roku.

Can you use a DirectTV box purchased online to stream on a TV? The cable service comes with my rent but I need another box - and not wishing to rent or buy from the company directly. Have seen cheaper ones online....

I am trying to manually my remote control. I am having trouble in getting it to recognize my SONOS ARC soundbar. Is there a list of SONOS supported devices? IT recognizes the SONOS brand but not the ARC model

I can not stream any Fox station (local Tampa), Fox News, Business, or Weather channels. These are the only ones that yield this message. I called customer support and was on the phone forever and they did not fix it. Can anyone help? Ready to cancel and go back to cable (which I hate to do).

It said it would be credited within two billing cycles. I have no idea why it should take that long, to begin with. It really should be, more or less, instantaneous . . . but nothing can be simple and customer-friendly at DirecTV.
