Credit card information not staying updated
Every month when I go in to pay my bill I keep getting a bar at the top of my account overview that tells me my credit card is expired and needs updating. It expired back in March and I updated it with the new information at that time. At this point I have now had to update that information continuously six times and its getting to be a real hassle to do so, especially as this website is not very user friendly and difficult to read on my tablet that I use to pay this account. Is there some kind of glitch in the server that keeps kicking my updated information out or is there some other reason for this?

Try updating the information from a regular computer, not a mobile device (smart phone or tablet), in case there is a conflict. Especially since AT&T has been migrating accounts from DirecTV's proprietary website and billing account system to the AT&T website and a new account system to be integrated with other AT&T systems, so not all options may work well from a mobile device at the moment.
If from a regular computer you have the same issue, and a clear of browser cookies/cache doesn't fix it, then I would call DirecTV to update the primary card on file.

I've already tried updating on a regular computer on three separate occasions and it still doesn't stay updated at all. I've even gotten the emails every time I updated saying that my information has been updated but the next time I go in to pay it's reset back to the expired card. I've tried clearing cookies, the cache, different computers and deleting the old card and putting in the unexpired card or a different card as if it was a new payment method but none of it seems to make a difference at all. I don't have the same problem with my AT&T account just this one. Since it has happened several times I guess I was hoping someone would bother to check the system and see if there is actually something wrong that needs fixing. I guess I'll just have to call in and see if this can be straightened out somehow because at some point its not going to let me update the information or it will act as if it did update but then decline the payment because the card information was changed in mid payment back to the expired one.

At that point you will definitely need to call DirecTV to get it updated on the account. They really need to fix things from the account and website migration.
Nobody here can check the system as this is a customer to customer forum, not official support.
And I doubt you could get help on this matter from Dick Greyson, Tim Drake, Damien Wayne, Stephanie Brown or the others...
