My receiver automatically changes channels, adjusts volume, and more or less whatever it feels like doing...even with batteries removed from the controls. Any ideas? This makes watching television impossible, and occasionally makes me cuss loudly.

I am going to run my own wire to my dish on my new house due to it still being w/out sheetrock. Are there any specifice besides a ground wire that I need to know? Should I run dual cable or just a single??
