I could not get Ellen show today.. I could see it was on in the guide preview little pic but was black screen when the channel was selected.  All other programming was working properly. Black screen said it was network but programming before and after was ok

So I'm getting installed with directv right now and the installer broke the siding on my brand new house when he drilled from the outside in. He put silicone over it and said to just paint it, but it looks absolutely horrible.  How do I get this fixed?

I just turned my tv to watch Ellen when I see it's not on because the owner of this channel has removed it from my line up. Is this just Ellen or NBC network channels altogether?
