Can the dish be installed on the side of the house or does it have to be on the roof?

I installed a new vcr/dvd recorder and prior to that the signal was sent to the rest of the house through a splitter setup by installer.  Now I can get receiver & vcr/dvd to work with my (which has to have a rf output box) but when I try to attach connector to send to rest of house it doesn't receiv

We did a remodel of our house and moved into the garage during construction. we had the dish and router moved to the garage.we are now ready to move back into the house and need the router moved back into the house  but want to keep the dish on the garage and keep the tv in the garage hooked up.how

I had an installer out at the house today to swap out both of my receivers , he installed (2) HR24/100 HD/DVR receivers...I still cannot get my whole house DVR service to work.  The Status says authorized, No networked DVRs found...any ideas

When the installer put the antenna on my parents house he drilled a hole in the brick of the house and it is now causing a leak. I need someone to remove the equipment and fix the damage that was caused by the incorrect installation.
