Entering WEP Key with letters

My WEP key has letters in it. When I'm setting up the wireless connection in the DVR menus it says to use my remote's number pad to enter the WEP key. I do not see a way to enter letters this way though. DirecTv support had no idea either. Anyone?

I lose the guide channel letters and symbols

Yea its definitely widespread and definitely 1 step away from an illegal scam. The recycle letter is generic and never specifies which equipment to recycle. But the letters demanding you return equipment are always specific to customer.

You can do a Keyword Search of the call letters. Go to Settings and Search. From there, type the call letters of the local channel. It should show up.
