yes, cabletech is correct, although it would be a poor way of getting 8 receivers since they would only get the 101 satellite. Only really worthwhile if you had a Phase III oval dish and two 2x4 multiswitches lying around, and only needed SD from 1

That's probably because the geometry of the Phase III dish is designed to line up on the 110 satellite whereas the slimline is aligned on 101, so you should probably start with the Phase III settings, but of course with a mismatched dish and LNB, any
