My tv/dvr stopped working...trouble shooted...unplugged box and as is went they it's process it ended with a red "X" and the #10 below itAnyone know what the deal is with this?

My DVR has been flashing red and green and the screen showed a gear but not making any progress and showed a red X. I unplugged it and now it hasn't been able to connect to tv since. Do I need reset my modem? I unplugged my modem but I'm not sure if I had to do anything else. Thank you

So, I did the unplug, wait 30 seconds and replug DVR thing three times. When the DVR finished rebooting, all I got was a red X and an 8 right below it. What is going on?

We have a red x with the number 8 underneath.  Cable works in other rooms, as well as internet.  Rebooted receiver but didn’t help.

DVR is freezing, rebooting itself, showing the red x with a 1. Replay of recorded shows on other receivers will freeze and force you to restart the program. If you fast forward that point from the beginning, it will usually play for a while before doing it again.

Attempting to connect a second wireless receiver and red X with the number 3 is showing on the screen.

I think they should add UFC and Boxing fights on there when the fights happen. They have it with the X-games, NASCAR, and Golf...might as well add it too the red button menu.

We have a black screen with a red X. We have reset the modem, wireless router, cable box, changed HDMI ports, etc. Reset all items with connections to tv and cable box. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
