Is there a way to extend time to recordings? I keep losing the end of programs because of football and other events going long and delaying the start of my regular scheduled programs.

ABC has several primetime programs that run an hour and two minutes. This messes up the following hour if you want to record 2 other stations rather than ABC. Does anyone know how to program the recorder to take 2-3 minutes off the end of a program?

I will watch a movie or a tv show and at the very end I miss the last 30 seconds of the show. This is very annoying. If this can not be fixed I am looking for another streaming channel.  Hulu does not have this problem.  I think Direct TV’s time setting is off. Please check.
