DirecTV app is totally useless

I give up. You are better off going to the NFL or any TV network app and signing in with your account credentials than using the always non-responsive DirecTV app. I am sorry but not sorry for saying this but for as big as a company that AT&T is you would think they would have some good Android app developers and testers.

I have offered to Beta test for them many times.

Getting to feel you just dont give a crap for you paying subscribers.

Prove me wrong.

Signed,

A very fustrated customer 🤬

Hey, @oilman!

Thanks for reaching out. We'd be glad to help you get your DIRECTV App working properly.

You say you're having trouble with the non-responsive DIRECTV App, but are you getting any error codes? If you haven't already we'd recommend Troubleshooting your DIRECTV App.

Let us know if this helps!

I've done everything except try my receiver on the WiFi network.. I
currently have it connected via ethernet with a statically assigned
IP address so it will never change. I have that IP address DMZ'd also. I am
NOT going to do a total reset of my phone just to satisfy your
troubleshooting guide. I dont have any issues with my phone.

@oilman

The phone reset is more of a last resort option. What exactly is wrong with the app?

Do the programs not load?

Are you unable to sign in?

Is it crashing?

The more details we have about what you're experiencing, the easier it'll be for us to figure out a solution.
