DIRECTV STREAM Setup & Equipment

I really like the experience of using the Gemini Air for watching DirecTV Stream, but the fact that I have to have HDR on or off only is preventing me from using HDR at all because of how it makes SDR TV look on my TV. Any chance we will get adaptive HDR support at some point?  I know it works

DirectTV streaming customer for one week. Successfully set Gemini up along with its remote.  Worked ok until I turned Samsung. TV off.  Unit turned completely off, making me have to start all over with programming.  Any suggestions?

I have arrangement with Spectrum. But Spectrum is becoming expensive for the seasoned customers, and all it advertises with attractive rates are fake. They increase the cost every year and there comes a time the customers of Spectrum think of alternate providers. Accordingly I am seeking Direct TV.

I am trying to load the WIVB News 4 app on my DirecTV Stream Gemini box. The app is in the Google Play Store when I search on the Web. However, I can not find it when I do a search on the Gemini box. This is an app for my home town news station in Buffalo. I am on Direct TV in Southwest Florida.
